It was a few months ago that the official sites of the anime adaptation of the light novel written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Toiro Tomose, “Gods’ Game We Play” (Kami wa Game ni Ueteiru) announced its release month, without much additional data. Now, more information has finally been revealed, including the news that this television anime will be broadcast legally and simultaneously through the Crunchyroll platform. This new information was announced during the “IGN Fan Fest 2024” event, where a clip of more than 3 minutes long of the series with English subtitles was also presented, allowing the fan community to appreciate a great preview of what will be seen in “God’s Game We Play.”
Previously, a promotional video had been revealed in which the premiere of the series on Japanese television in the course of April had already been announced. As they have implied, the launch window remains unchanged, although a specific release date has not been confirmed. However, we do know the production team:
- Tatsuya Shiraishi is directing the project for LIDEN FILMS animation studios.
- NTL is in charge of the anime composition.
