Indeed, the Shoujo will be revived with this new series that already has its first promotional video. This trailer was revealed on the official site for the anime adaptation written and illustrated by Mayu Murata, “Honey Lemon Soda.” The video confirms the main voice cast and announces its scheduled premiere for the winter 2025 season (January – March) in Japan.
Mayu Murata began publishing the manga through Shueisha‘s Ribon Magazine in December 2015. The manga was nominated at the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Shoujo category in 2021. That same year, the manga ranked fortieth in the “Book of the Year” listing by Da Vinci magazine. The work has already had a live-action movie adaptation released in July 2021.

Synopsis
“Honey Lemon Soda” is a Shoujo manga that revolves around the life of Uka Ishimori, a shy and withdrawn high school student who has had difficulty fitting in and making friends due to a traumatic incident in her past. Her life changes dramatically when she meets Kai Miura, a popular and charismatic classmate known for his distinctive lemon-blonde hair.
