Additionally, it appears that the tweet alludes to the J-pop band Sakurazaka46’s song “Start Over,” which was just incorporated into the Shonen Jump collaboration. The idol group is well-known to have long had a fan in Togashi. They recently released an album with the same name, Start Over!, and “Start Over” is one of the songs on it.
In December 2022, the 400th and last chapter of the series—titled “Secrecy”—was published. The Weekly Shonen Jump would no longer print the Hunter x Hunter manga, it was also announced. Because of long-standing health problems, Togashi had to take frequent breaks while the manga was being serialized. The specifics of the new publication have not yet been made public.
The serialization of Hunter x Hunter in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump started in 1998. The break began in November of last year. In recent years, Togashi has experienced health problems relating to back discomfort; in order to prevent harm, he even produced illustrations to show how to pick up objects correctly after you drop them.
