Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 is taking a short break before the highly anticipated new arc begins at the end of the month. Despite the hiatus, the franchise has delighted fans by unveiling updated character designs for three notable characters: Suguru Geto, Mahito, and Choso. While Geto played an important role in the recently concluded Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, Mahito and Choso have not been seen since the first season.

The trio, Takahiro Sakurao, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Daisuke Namikawa respectively, captivated audiences in Jujutsu Kaisen anime. Excitement builds as the upcoming arc, known as the infamous Shibuya Incident arc, is set to begin on August 31st. Accompanying the new arc is an invigorating opening theme song titled “SPECIALZ” by King Gnu, following the previous opening song “Where Our Blue Is” by Tatsuya Kitani. The ending song for this season will be “Akari” by Soushi Sakiyama.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Jujutsu Kaisen is based on the manga by Gage Akutami, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. The first season of the anime adaptation, as well as the prequel movie titled Jujutsu Kaisen 0, were expertly animated by MAPPA, further enthralling the audience with the fascinating world of Jujutsu Kaisen.
