The team responsible for the anime series “Love Live! Superstar!!” has revealed new information about the highly anticipated third season: yesterday, August 4, it was confirmed that the next installment of this franchise is scheduled to begin broadcasting on Japanese television starting October 6 of this year. This juicy news was announced on the official media channels of the “Love Live!” franchise, where a new promotional video for the said third season of “Love Live! Superstar!!” was also unveiled, which you can watch right below these lines:
As if the aforementioned were not enough, a new promotional image for the third season of the series was also revealed on the official franchise website. Recall that this awaited season was announced in October 2022, which means the series will return two years after the production was announced.
The “Love Live!” project was initiated by Sunrise, Lantis, and Dengeki G magazine of ASCII MediaWorks as a user participation project, where they voted for the future of fictional idols. This led to music CDs and music videos that eventually led to anime adaptations of “Love Live! School Idol Project” with two seasons and a movie. As for the “Love Live! Superstar!!” anime series, it premiered in Japan on July 11, 2021, and consisted of 2 seasons (24 episodes in total). The animation studio Sunrise was responsible for its production, and the series is legally available through the Crunchyroll platform.
Production Team
As we knew beforehand, the production team involved in this third season of “Love Live! Superstar!!” is as follows: Takahiko Kyogoku is in charge of direction for animation studio Sunrise. The series composition is handled by Jukki Hanada, while Yuhei Murota is responsible for character design, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa composes the soundtrack, obviously a strong point of the franchise, not to mention important in terms of narrative.
