“Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections” will be released on PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series XIS this coming 17th November, as announced by Bandai Namco’s official page. The PC release date will be announced soon.
According to sources, the current roster of playable characters has risen to 130, the largest number of characters in the history of Ultimate Ninja STORM. In addition to characters from the previous series, newcomers include, among others, the brothers who founded legendary ninja clans, Ashura and Indra Otsutsuki, as well as characters from Boruto, such as Boruto Uzumaki (Karma), Kawaki, and Jigen.
The rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke will reach a new height, being revived in thrilling battles and selected anime scenes, which will recount the story from a unique viewpoint. Additionally, in the next-gen versions, players can enjoy the title at 60fps.!
“Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections” will feature an original “story mode”, designed exclusively for the title, focusing on Boruto, from when he meets a girl in the popular online game “Ninja Heroes”. Players can enjoy a “simple control mode” that makes handling easier and will automate several actions.
Boruto is a Genin from the Hidden Leaf Village. Being the son of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyūga, Boruto bears a strong resemblance to his father, inheriting his blue eyes and blonde hair, and has a deep love for his mother. He is also a member of Team Konohamaru, alongside Sarada Uchiha and Mitsuki.
Boruto Uzumaki is the main protagonist of the manga and anime “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations”, and the manga “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex”. His character was continued and developed through the work crafted by Ukyō Kodachi, and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, which started its publication on 9th May 2016. However, the original concept was created by mangaka Masashi Kishimoto, who currently writes and develops the story for this project, alongside Mikio Ikemoto as the illustrator.
