Synopsis

The plot of “COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing” revolves around Ichika Hoshino, a young girl who lives in the bustling district of Shibuya. One day, while exploring a record store, she hears a song by Hatsune Miku that she has never heard before and sees an unfamiliar version of Miku on a screen. Surprised by this vision, Ichika calls out to Miku, who mysteriously disappears when she hears her voice. This encounter is just the beginning of a special relationship between the young girl and the iconic virtual singer.

The version of Miku that Ichika meets is struggling with a deep conflict: although she continues to sing, her songs no longer reach people’s hearts as they once did. This broken and vulnerable Miku is desperate to reconnect with her audience but feels unable to do it alone. After observing Ichika’s ability to connect with people through her street music performances, Miku asks for her help in trying to restore her ability to touch the hearts of others with her music.

Throughout the film, Ichika and Miku work together to overcome these emotional and artistic challenges, discovering how music can be a healing force. The journey is not only about restoring Miku’s voice but also about how both protagonists face their own fears and find new ways to express themselves in a modern world that sometimes seems insensitive to the beauty of art. This emotional story reflects themes of self-acceptance, collaboration, and the search for authenticity in the musical world.

Personally, I feel like this year has flown by, and from that perspective, January is just around the corner… Seriously! So, there’s not much time left before we can enjoy this adaptation, don’t you think? Now is the time when we ask you to head over to the comments and leave us your opinion about this proposal or about the game if you’ve had the chance to experience it firsthand, alright? You know, we’ll be reading! 😉
