Synopsis of “SHY”

In the mid-21st century, powerful individuals with superhuman strength appeared all over the world. These people, who wore flashy clothes and performed incredible feats in the name of peace, became known as heroes, symbolic figures of the nations they came from. In Japan, Teru Momijiyama, a 14-year-old student, is known for her secret identity as Japan’s heroine, Shy.

As a young and timid girl, Shy is a fairly novice heroine with much to learn. She struggles to trust herself and wonders if she deserves the title of hero. Despite her self-doubt, Shy strives to save people and do the right thing. As new and powerful threats emerge, Shy must cooperate with heroes from around the world while learning what it means to be a hero.
