After the Release of Tokyo Revengers Live Action on the Japanese TV channel, WB Japan Announced a Sequel to the Anime’s Live Action Movie (Tokyo Revengers 2). Takumi Kitamura will once again play protagonist Takemichi Hanagaki. WB Japan also revealed a new Trailer:

Takumi Kitamura played the role of Takemichi, Ryo Yoshizawa played the role of Mikey Sano, Yuki Yamada played the role of Draken Ryuguji, Yosuke Sugino played the role of Naoto Tachibana, and Mio Imada played the role of Hinata Tachibana.
The decision to make a sequel was announced at the end of the broadcast of the movie “Tokyo Revengers,” which was aired on Fuji TV’s “Saturday Premium” frame on July 30th.

Tokyo Revengers is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since March 2017. An anime television series adaptation by Liden Films aired in April 2021. A second season is set to premiere in January 2023. A live-action film adaptation was released in Japan in July 2021.
The manga had over 65 million copies in circulation, including 7 million copies outside of Japan. The manga won the 44th Kodansha Manga Award for the shōnen category in 2020.
