Sentai Daishikkaku is an action-comedy story set in a world where Sentai heroes, known for their colorful costumes and team formations, are an essential part of society. These heroes fight against various threats to protect humanity. However, the story takes an unexpected turn when the protagonist, a young man named Kōichi, discovers that he is actually the leader of a Sentai hero team known as Daishikkaku or “Great Failure“. Unlike conventional Sentai teams, the members of Daishikkaku are considered useless and unlucky, and their existence has been hidden from the public.

As the story progresses, Kōichi and his team embark on a series of comedic and challenging adventures to prove their worth and defy society’s expectations. Each team member has unique abilities that are seen as flawed or ridiculous, but together, they find creative ways to use their powers to overcome obstacles. Throughout their journey, they face powerful enemies, uncover secrets about the Sentai hero world, and learn the true meaning of friendship and teamwork.

The plot of Sentai Daishikkaku is a parody of classic Sentai hero tropes, offering a fresh and humorous perspective on the genre. The series explores themes such as self-acceptance, overcoming others’ expectations, and the importance of diversity and inclusion. Through its charismatic characters and absurd situations, Sentai Daishikkaku provides an entertaining mix of action, comedy, and heart.

In short, we all know that April is just around the corner, and even more so when we consider releases like this, which seem to have no trouble captivating (and entertaining) us from the get-go. That said, let us know what you think in the comments, or if you were a fan of the Sentai genre in your childhood or adolescence, like many of us were. Go ahead! You know, we’ll be reading! 😉
