Ubisoft Forward: New Features Coming in June

April 4, 2024

As we know, Ubisoft has become one of the first video game companies to announce a summer event with new features in its catalog. Ubisoft Forward already has a date (although not a time yet), and it will take place on June 10th. Obviously, we are talking about the super digital event that it has been celebrating solo for several years.

What makes this edition of Ubisoft Forward special is that, breaking with everything before, this time it will have a “face-to-face” format. The French company has announced that this event will take place in Los Angeles, California, the American city where the E3 has traditionally been held, which knew how to make its good history, and whose absence we even miss many of us.

What can be expected for this Ubisoft Forward?

Well, let’s see, for this event, it is expected that there will be novelties from two of the company’s main projects. Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin’s Creed Codename RED, whose releases are scheduled for before March 2025, although they do not yet have a specific confirmed date. Star Wars Outlaws is Ubisoft and Lucasfilms’ colossal superproduction, set in the twilight of the Imperial Era of the Star Wars universe, and its release is planned for the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms. On the other hand, Assassin’s Creed Codename RED will be the newest installment we have heard of from the super well-known Assassin’s Creed franchise, this time set in feudal Japan (the most requested setting by the fan community), in which we can play both as a samurai and as a kunoichi (a female ninja). Assassin’s Creed Codename RED will arrive for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.

We must remember that precisely at the Ubisoft Forward 2023, dates were revealed for several games that would end up arriving that same year, just a few months after the event: Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, The Crew Motorfest, and others. And obviously, we don’t have anything confirmed yet, but perhaps we can know more about The Rogue Prince of Persia, the new Prince of Persia, which we know is already in development in the hands of Evil Empire, the creators of the already famous Dead Cells.

Okay, so now we have given you more reasons to be aware of next June, or better yet, to attend in person for the first time at Ubisoft Forward whenever it is within your possibilities. Now be good, gamer, and tell us which saga you are most looking forward to, because, you know, we will be reading you! 😀
